It is common for people to leave with a certain disorder without being properly diagnosed. Stay away from any drugs that can affect your sleep.

Taking short naps during the day can do wonders to containing this disorder. The naps should be last for about 30 minutes.

Developing a healthy diet and stick to it. Avoid eating two to three hours before you go to bed.

Make sure that your bedroom is comfortable, quiet and free from light such as computer or TV light. You should eliminate any form of distractions.

Avoid eating just before bed time especially food that can make it hard for you to fall asleep. This include, Caffeine in coffee, chocolate, and certain soft drinks and teas.

If you are a drinker or smoker, then consider quitting these habits all together.
