Lose Belly Fat With Simple Home Cardio Workouts
November 8, 2009 | Leave a Comment
Lack time or motivation to hit the gym? Still need to lose that over hang you view as ugly belly fat? I hear you. Then here’s the solution. Get into home cardio workouts to lose belly fat. Let me explain how to easily lose that unappealing belly fat without risking over exposure in an all too public fitness center filled with body beautifuls.
First a gut level decision. Don’t stop doing crunches and sit ups. Yet just realize they can’t do much to help eliminate that pesky stomach flab either. What they do is work to tone the hidden abdominals so that once you shed the belly fat you will have something to put on display. Proudly too.
Let me bottom line it for you. You must engage in a total body workout to make that kangaroo pouch go away any time soon. Too many blissfully ignore this fact. But cardio combined with an ab workout is really the only way to make that middle bulging prominently through your tops disappear by burning through enough calories to make that happen.
One home cardio workout involves a jump rope. But a jump rope really isn’t just for kids as it’s got calorie burning potential written all over it.
But that’s not your only choice. For those who are fascinated by workout equipment there are plenty with more than enough potential to burn off all the calories you need to burn off.
Topping the wish list of many would be such work out equipment like elliptical machines, treadmills, or exercise bike. Yet don’t let the price new calories burners like these deter you. If you watch Craig’s list or garage sales even these can be had for pennies on the dollar.
Now if your joints are a concern go with the stationary bike. It’s a low impact workout although the trade off is you won’t be burning as many calories as you might otherwise.
To burn more calories and lose weight faster the elliptical may be a better choice.
While some find rowing machines more to their liking. This apparatus will quickly get your heart beat elevated and have you sweating in as little as 10 minutes in some cases.
Remember too that the incline is your friend on your treadmill. It will make you work harder and so burn more calories in the same amount of time. Helping you trim down that much faster.
And if you have a Stairmaster to burn the calories then do not “cheat” yourself by using the handrails.
If you hear treadmill and think boring you’re not alone. In that case let’s revisit jumping rope. It’s can burn more calories in 10 minutes than you would by running a mile. But you do need to invest in good shoes to absorb the impact and minimize the pounding on your body that comes from landing on the floor.
Interval training is another way to go when dealing with boredom. Just takes more pieces of equipment is all if doing it at home.
With any cardio routine you need to plan your work (out) and work your plan. Meaning that to get results fastest you want to be doing aerobics for 30-40 minutes a day for 4-5 days in a week. If you can you’ll soon notice you’ve got a bulging waistline with less bulge and more trim.
