Recently I heard a great story. She was an old girl but they took really good care of her. Her whole life she grew up with little children pulling her hair, poking her in the eyes, pulling her tail, and so on. The dog had never shown signs of anger toward anyone. So my friend figures the dog heard someone walking around the house and decided to see who it might be. The intruder took an offensive position when he saw the large dog and tried fighting off the dog.
