Personally when i joined an MLM network marketing company, i was told to apply those same methods. I was told to create a list of 150 people i know and then call each and everyone of them to see of they are interested in my business.
I was only faced with questions I wasn’t able to answer, getting hung up on, and faced with nothing but rejection. And having people in my down line that just depend on me and don’t want to work. The pressure and work was just getting more and more.
When i finished my list and i had almost 2 sign ups from those 150 , he told me to just keep doing what i am doing and find people from the STREET.
This only led me to some more rejection and spending a bunch of money. And more and more frustration.
At that time i was broke and just had nothing!
