I’ve bought all these materials - books and systems - and have tried them all. I have been a student of these kinds of materials for five years now. My ranking based on how well it will work for the average guy is as follows (I am excluding The Seduction Chronicles as it is not a Guru site. )1. Dating To Relating (Mr. L. Rx) 2. Double Your Dating (David DeAngelo) 3. Tie - TheMysteryMethod (Mystery) and StyleLife.com (Neil Strauss).
Dating To Relating. Absolutely the BEST dating advice manuaa on the market today. The education you get from this book is the bet there is. No matter what kind of approach you are looking for you will get the answers here. If you want quick brainless pick up techniques - they are here. If you want sophisticated intellectual approaches that understand women - you will find it here. It is not just a bunch of pick up lines, and techniques, It is a complete education about women and what works.
What is outstanding about this book is that the information presented is SITUATIONAL and will work for any type of guy and will work on any type of woman that you are interested in. So if you want to purchase a book that will have a very high chance of actually working for you, this is the one. That is what we liked about this information. None of the other information we reviewed had total SITUATIONAL data that covers any situation you may encounter.
The author, Mr. L. Rx, does not give you just one mindless technique on how to pick up on women in bars or clubs, or on the internet, or how to be successful with one personality type. He covers it all types of techniques - From bars and clubs, to on the street, in the store, on the internet, etc. He not only tells you how to meet women, he tells you how to meet all different kinds of women with all different kinds of personalities in all different kinds of situations. None of the other gurus really tell you how to do this.
Double Your Dating. Double Your Dating is an awesome source of data for men. With his “Dating Guru Series ” this is undoubtedly the largest compilation of data to help men ever assembled. David DeAngelo now has scores of other products to help men overcome their fears and “wussiness” with women, besides the original product
I bought his original book and his Dating Guru Interview series on CDs that come out monthly. These are just great. I’ve still subscribe to him for five years now. I think it is a perfect companion to Dating To Relating above, and I would recommend to anyone who can afford it to get this product in addition to Dating To Relating above.
The reason for this is that Dating To Relating helps you develop your own techniques and Double Your Dating gives you a lot of different viewpoints to help stir your creative ideas to help you develop your own techniques.
The reason I rate David as number two is he hasn’t quite put it all together as well as Mr. L. Rx. He does give a lot of truth in his tons of data, but in the end he focuses on one strategy and doesn’t quite get the situational varied approach of Mr. L. Rx. So as I see it and have experienced it, David’s information will work for some guys, but it will leave a lot of guys - most guys in fact - high and ry - Mr. L. Rx’s system is a system that will work for ALL guys and ALL types of girls.
Mystery Method and Style Life/The Game/Neil Strauss. I’m combining them here as they are more or less coming from the same technique. Neil was a student of Mystery as he describes in “The Game.”
Now these are not my top recommendations, but out of the 50 or so Gurus on the internet they are definitely at the top. In conjunction with the above two products - “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating” they can have decent value. On their own, I would not recommend them for the common guy. Their techniques definitely work, but they only work on a narrow band of what I would label shallow women.
Mystery and Neil Strauss’s techniques are very powerful and work, but the end product is you might not like the kind of girls you get as a result of this, and you might not like who you are being as you do this. Mr. L. Rx. gives you similar techniques to pick up shallow women in bars and clubs but he also tells you how to get a “real” relationship and how to pick up “real” (non-shallow) women.
Plus a major drawback is that a lot of their techniques are just memorized lines. Even Neil Strauss has admitted that “The Game is changing.” So many guys have learned his and Mystery’s pick up lines and routines that women have heard them before and recognize them and men are getting busted for using them.
There are even gurus on the internet who took Mystery’s training and were successful at it, but gave it up and don’t practice it anymore. In one of David DeAngelo’s Interviews, he interviews David M. who had become an Internet Dating Guru and quite frankly states he did not enjoy doing the Mystery Method even though he graduated and was successful at it.
The value of these materials is similar to what I said in the Double Your Dating section above. Mystery goes into more details about this particular method than Mr. L. Rx does. So, if being a “player” is your life’s ambition, there is value in getting this information in addition to Mr. L. Rx’s data.
Mr. L. Rx actually gives you more tools to be a player with, but Mystery gives you more detailed information on this one technique with this one “type” of woman than Mr. L. Rx. Mr. L. Rx gives you more tools to create “pick up” technique with, but Mystery and Neil give you a lot more data that you can create with once you get and understand Mr. L. Rx’s tools.
So, if you want to be really skilled at this “meeting women” game, then these materials (The Mystery Method and “The Game”) are the final materials that have any value in additon to “Dating To Relating” and “Double Your Dating.
