Understanding Men – Why Are Men So Confusing and Hard to Understand?

If there’s one constant in nature, it’s that women are confused by men. The fact of the matter is that mothers don’t teach their daughters how men really work, because not even a mother understands this mystery! Women who try to understand men on their own often end up even more confused than when they began.
The big reason that men are so confusing to women is actually sort of simple. Men and women operate completely differently when it comes to psychology! I’m not the first to say it, either; expert authors have said the same thing for years and years, but that doesn’t make it any less true today.
In order for a woman to understand men, she has to first understand male psychology. And to understand male psychology, a woman has to accept and come to grips with the fact that men are actually wired to think differently.
Think about it. When you’re out with your girlfriends, what do you usually talk about? Maybe finding a great guy and falling in love and all of that good stuff.
On the other hand, not very many men talk about those things. Instead, most men take sort of a passive attitude when it comes to their love life, just cruising by and going after whatever shiny object happens to be in their life at the moment. They don’t put a whole lot of emotional time or investment into pondering love or their relationships.
It’s pretty obvious that most guys are not all that into discussing deeply emotional things with their buddies. Instead, “guy talk” usually consists of seemingly shallow conquests and goals.
No, men are simply different from women! And once you accept and understand male psychology, you can work with it rather than just ending up confused about it time after time.
Another thing to keep in mind is that both men and women are emotional creatures who base the majority of their actions on their feelings. Still, upon close examination, it becomes apparent that men often try to hide their emotions by rationalizing them with makeshift logic that doesn’t always make sense. Ever wonder why men often act in ways which are very confusing, and can sometimes seem dishonest? Well, that facet of male psychology has a lot to do with it.
It may seem like a lot of effort to learn what makes men tick. In many ways, it is comparable to learning a foreign language. Still, if you think about it, a big chunk of most women’s lives are wasted being frustrated and confused with men. If you can skip all of that frustration, confusion, and heartache, and learn to truly understand men, then you will truly hold the key to emotional well being and satisfaction. And that, ladies, makes understanding men worth all of the effort in the world.
