Weddings For Bridegrooms

This is a question asked by many Grooms as they begin the gauntlet of activities leading up to the wedding.
One might wonder why Bridegrooms frequently are less enthusiastic about weddings than their fiances’ . One of the reasons may be this test of social events that are often uncomfortable for Men . Some Grooms are less socially oriented than their fiances’ . Some Grooms have difficulty putting their emotions on public display.
The pre-wedding process can be challenging for both brides and Bridegrooms , but there is a high degree of stress and anxiety faced by Grooms . The process is both emotionally challenging and can be very expensive. The process may be describes as a social gauntlet .
When you think about it, why do Bridegrooms experience so much stress over the long list of social encounters? If you have missed it, just watch Grooms at pre-wedding showers, parties, rehearsals, etc.
At least a month before the wedding, I meet with brides and Bridegrooms . My purpose is to help the couples plan their wedding ceremonies and answer any questions they may have over getting married. In most cases, fiances’ are much more eager to discuss the wedding than Men .
In my experience, Grooms have a lot to offer, but I have to work to uncover their thoughts and feelings. brides let their ideas flow like a waterfall, but Men take a little longer, a little more effort, a little more processing.
Are weddings just for fiances’ ? Some have suggested so. On the other hand, to have a wedding you need both ladies and Bridegrooms . Maybe out of a desire to avoid strife or not wanting to suppress their ladies ‘ enthusiasm; Men are often less aggressive as it relates to their weddings.
On the other hand, I have found that Men have very strong feelings. They may not know how to express those feelings without discouraging their ladies .
The wedding planner or coordinator, the wedding minister, and the brides can greatly help support the Men by early planning, effective listening, and genuine efforts to include the Grooms in every phase of the process. The better Grooms feel about being part of their own pre-wedding and wedding; the more likely they will enjoy successful marriage.
Little girls begin dreaming of their wedding day soon after they learn to walk and talk. Men , on the other hand, begin thinking of their wedding day when they find their dream girl. It takes a little time for Men to catch up, but it is important for marriage to make sure Bridegrooms are included in the process.
