Finding out your bra size is necessary in more than one aspect. Of course you will want it to fit you good, but it can also have many undesired effects. Firstly, an uncomfortable, tight, or loose bra causes irritation, pain and blood circulatory problems. Maybe even more than any other clothing, a bra is meant to be comfortable and well fitted. Also, it might affect your posture and your looks. The way you feel in it ultimately shows. Well then, how to measure your bra size? This quick procedure could well make your life less hassle.

The first steps is to measure your band size. The band size can be determined by measuring the perimeter of your chest. It has to be conducted as accurately as possible because it will affect the way the bra holds up. The best way to do it is to put a flexible tape tightly wrapped around your chest. It is preferred to do while wearing your bra and measure right beneath it. Your band size is then found out using a conversion table (or simply by asking a sales person).

The next step is to measure your cup size. To do so, take readings on the circumference of the highest point on your chest over your breasts. Following that, take away the band size from this measurement. Compare the result against a conversion table. In every inch difference, go up by a cup size starting from A. In example if the difference results as 1 inch you need an A cup. For 2 inches you require a B cup and so onforth.

Obviously, no matter how accurate your measuring can be, it doesn’t mean that you can just take any bra that matches your size. If you are unaware, true band and cup sizes can vary quite significantly depending on the brands and models you choose. What you need is to find one that can fit you well. If you did it properly, the sizes you measured should get you quite close. And it is only right that you can find your actual size. At the end of the day, a fitting bra should look right, and overall feel right.

You only need to measure your bra size once a while to upkeep your appearance for a long time. Now that understand how important your bra plays on the confidence level you feel for the day it’s high time to start choosing a comfortable bra.
